The Graduate School of Neural Information Processing does provide research-oriented training in a wide spectrum of computational neuroscience topics. This doctoral program aims at students with a first degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, bioinformatics, engineering or a related field who have a strong interest in biomedical and neural sciences and technical applications. Profound knowledge in maths (linear algebra, analysis), statistics, elementary probability theory, and programming skills in at least one language are compulsory.
We offer a master degree in Medical Informatics at the University of Tübingen. Students holding an above-average Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree who are interested in current medical informatics research and in modern methods applied in medicine may continue their studies to obtain a Master’s degree (a good command of English is prerequisite).
