EIT RawMaterials Academy
The Sustainable and Innovative Natural Resource Management (SINReM) master programme is embedded in the International Training Centre of the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering of Ghent University and the EIT Raw Materials Academy.
Program aims at knowledge and capabilities for solving natural, economic and social problems of sustainability. Methods of analysis of natural scientific and social correlations as well as of developing and realising measures, which aim at sustainable land use, are taught.
The EIT-Labelled Master in Resources Engineering (EMerald) is a two-year international master programme. It is organised in 4 semesters (30 ECTS per semester): the first semester is in Liège, Belgium; the second semester in Nancy, France; the third semester in Luleå, Sweden or in TU Freiberg, Germany, and the fourth semester in one of these four partner-Universities. Triple master degree awarded.
The course will give a general introduction to Circular Economy, will
present a wide range of best-practices, will give an insight into
current practices through field visits and will introduce the students
to the lecturer’s current research.
The Advanced Materials - Innovative Recycling (AMIR) Master program offered by EIT RawMaterials Academy focuses on the raw material value chain, with particular emphasis on recycling. Academic and industry leaders have built a strong multidisciplinary program to educate future international professionals who will develop new routes for materials recycling.

scarcity, the development of advanced technical solutions under specific
local boundary conditions becomes urgently necessary. The chair of
environmental process engineering offers a new course focusing on
sustainable solutions for energy generation and water desalination based
on economic, ecologic and social dimension.
