When testcenters are closed during the coronavirus pandemic, some online alternatives have been developed. IELTS has launched the IELTS Indicator, which is an alternative to the TOEFL home test or the Duolingo Test of English.

I have chosen IELTS, because it is cheaper and reflects more what you can deal with than how you can circle the grammar closed questions. I liked that test, because you can handle the topics of the two essays there as you wish.

I did the IELTS test when I was applying for the programme and now I am studying IT in Germany!

I chose The Hague University because it has the program I like and accepts my IELTS score.

For applying for a master in Lund University I did the IELTS language test. There are a lot of dates for giving a test, so you don’t have to stress about the time of applying.

There is one British Council test centre in Mauritius' capital Port Louis. The average IELTS score of test takers with English as native language is 7. Currently we do not have any universities in Mauritius in our database, that accept the IELTS test.
