This Political Science - Philosophy and Political Theory course from The University of Manchester pathway offers a specialisation in political theory, while also deepening your knowledge in other areas of philosophy. Therefore, you must have studied some philosophy in your undergraduate degree.
This is a structured, yet flexible programme, informed by current research, that aims to give you in-depth knowledge of some central areas of Western analytical philosophy; and enable you to develop the ability to evaluate, and think through for yourself, philosophical arguments and positions.
Combined Studies offers you a degree which allows you to study course units from Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and some Sciences. The degree is structured around a range of disciplines, and is therefore able to draw on a wide range of University Schools in order to make a wide selection of courses available to you.
