Ten major periods will be highlighted in lectures and discussions, the reading of drama fragments, practical exercises, group presentations, the study of film fragments and visits to actual hot spots. Your travel starts with the Ancient Greeks and medieval theatre and ends up with the study of intercultural and interdisciplinary performances in the ’70’s/‘80’s and actual developments in the Dutch theatre scene today.
