The Water and Environment programme at the University of Copenhagen enables you to work professionally with the sustainable use and management of the world's freshwater resources.
The course will combine advanced topics on wetland ecosystems theory and modelling (hydrology, biogeochemistry) with new technological advances for developing ecohydrological methods.
Students attending as single-course students can join a selected number of courses in the DTU engineering programme. Students study alongside our regular DTU students and classes are held in the daytime. In order for you to be enrolled, you have to pay a participation fee and there has to be a vacant seat.
The overall course objectives are to understand the dynamic interactions between sewer systems, wastewater treatment plants and receiving waters and to learn using an integrated model simulation tool to optimise the performance of this integrated system considering a range of technical mitigation options.
