Memorial University of Newfoundland
We offer a bachelor degree in Chemistry at the Memorial University of Newfoundland. Chemistry is the science of the composition, structure, properties and reactions of matter, especially of atomic and molecular systems.
At the Memorial University of Newfoundland, the MSc program in Scientific Computing was one of the first in North America, and remains the only such program in Atlantic Canada. Both MSc and PhD programs are now being offered in Scientific Computing.
Our graduate program in Biochemistry, offered by the Memorial University of Newfoundland, provides an advanced education with the goal of preparing students for a career in research or other STEM disciplines.
The Department of Chemistry of Memorial University of Newfoundland is one of the largest Chemistry departments in Atlantic Canada, with 23 faculty, 13 permanent laboratory instructors and instructional assistants, and a number of support and research staff.
We offer a bachelor degree in Biochemistry at the Memorial University of Newfoundland. The department of biochemistry offers undergraduate programs leading to the degrees in two subject areas: Biochemistry and Nutrition. We offer both B.Sc. and B.Sc..(Hons.) programs in these two areas.
