The Philosophy Department at Saint Mary’s University has a small but thriving MA program which typically admits one or two students a year. We have particular strengths in ethics, social and political philosophy, epistemology, aesthetics, philosophy of education, history of late modern philosophy, and philosophy of science and its history.
The Philosophy program at Saint Mary's University will answear to questions like: Do we possess free will? Are values real and objective, or merely the expression of people’s preferences?
