The Master of Quantitative Analysis in the Social Sciences (QASS) is a one year (60 ECTS) track within the Social, Behavioural and Educational Statistics option of the 2 year Master of Statistics programme.
The ORSTAT Research Center has expertise in Operations Research and Statistics. The research center covers a wide range of challenging topics in both areas. One of the statistical research topics is the optimal design of experiments (DOE) with applications in industry, marketing, transportation and health economics. This project is part of this DOE research as it deals with the design and analysis of discrete choice experiments to study heterogeneous choice behavior.
The Master of Statistics programme offers high-quality training in statistics for research or for professional life. The student can choose from various fields of specialisation, such as biometrics, social behavioural and educational statistics, business statistics, industrial statistics, mathematical statistics, official statistics, or an interdisciplinary statistics profile.
