For applying for a master in Lund University I did the IELTS language test. There are a lot of dates for giving a test, so you don’t have to stress about the time of applying.

I took the IELTS test and it was really helpful to increase my admission chances to this programme. It is easy if you pay attention to good preparation.

I did the IELTS test when I was applying for the programme and now I am studying IT in Germany!

As I had always been fond of the British examinations in English, I registered for the IELTS exam. I should admit it was a remarkable experience; despite the fact that the examinations were demanding and in consecutive order without any break in between, I do remember this examination for its impressive results, as I got a 7.5/9.

There is one British Council test centre in Rwandas capital Kigali. Currently we do not have any universities in Rwanda in our database, that accept the IELTS test. To study in English at one of the universities in Rwanda, you may need a proof of English proficiency. There are several standardised English tests that you can take to proof your English level, such as the PTE (Pearson Test of English), TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), CAE (Cambridge Advanced English) and IELTS (International English Language Testing System), offered by British Council and IDP. How can I apply for IELTS in Rwanda?

First make sure that you apply for the right type of IELTS. The IELTS exam is offered as Academic or a General Training variant.
